Private Tutoring
I have taught English, humanities, public speaking, and expressive arts courses at the high school and university level since 2012. I have also worked in college writing centers providing one-on-one tutoring for reading and writing for more than 10 years. Currently, I offer private tutoring services in the Albany/Saratoga region of New York State (clients must provide proof of vaccination) or remote tutoring on Zoom. Subject areas: writing, reading, literature, general humanities, public speaking. Please note, I do not offer test prep services (e.g., SAT, ACT).
Proofreading and Copyediting
Since 2018, I have worked as a freelance copyeditor and proofreader for academic clients. Expert in MLA, APA, CMS. If you are interested in editing services for an academic book or journal article, please send publisher’s house style sheet.
Audition Prep and Text Coaching for Actors
I began acting professionally in 2005 and have been directing and producing Shakespeare since 2008. I provide audition prep and monologue coaching for classical actors, especially those working on Shakespeare or other early modern verse pieces. I am also available to coach actors on verse and text for specific roles.
